DAY 01: PATHANKOT / AMRITSAR – DHARAMSHALA  

Upon arrival at Kangra Airport or Pathankot Station or Amritsar Airport / Station, you will receive assistance. Afterward, you will proceed to Dharamshala, where you will be transferred to hotel/resort. After settling in, you’ll have free time to enjoy leisure activities at the beautiful hill retreat. 

To reach Dharamshala, Pathankot, located approximately 90 kilometers away (a 2 to 3-hour drive), serves as the nearest railway station. Amritsar Airport / Station, approximately 200 kilometers away (a 4 to 5-hour drive), serves as the nearest major transportation hub. However, Kangra Airport, located just around 15 kilometers away, serves as the nearest airport.

DAY 06: DALHOUSIE – AMRITSAR

In the evening, embark on an excursion to the Wagah Border for an unforgettable experience. 

Amritsar, a historic city founded by Sri Guru Ramdass Ji in 1574 AD, is a must-visit destination in India. Its rich cultural heritage and hospitality offer a vibrant Punjabi experience. The Golden Temple, or Gurudwara Harmandir Sahib Ji, is Sikhism’s holiest shrine, known for its golden architecture, sacred pond, and massive community kitchen serving over a hundred thousand meals daily—a symbol of equality and selflessness. Laid in 1588 AD by Hazrat Mian Mir, a great Muslim saint, its foundation stone holds a unique history. Nearby, Jallianwala Bagh, infamous for the tragic 1919 massacre, stands as a somber memorial, symbolizing India’s struggle for independence.

The Wagah Border Ceremony near Amritsar delivers an electrifying and unforgettable experience. DAY 07: AMRITSAR      

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amritsar Airport or Station for your onward journey. The transfer will be coordinated based on your departure schedule, ensuring a seamless and punctual departure from the city.
